PnB Rock was fatally shot during a robbery at the Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles restaurant in South Los Angeles on Monday. The rapper, who leaves behind two kids, was having lunch with his girlfriend Stephanie Sibounheuang when he was killed.
Los Angles police Capt. Kelly Muniz said a shooting took place at 1:15 p.m. at the famous eatery on Main Street and Manchester Avenue. She would not identify the victim. Rock, 30, whose real name is Rakim Allen, had been at the restaurant with his girlfriend, who’d posted a location-tagged photo in a since-deleted Instagram post. Rock, 30, whose real name is Rakim Allen, welcomed his first child with Stephanie Sibounheuang on March 27, 2020. The pair announced their birth of their baby girl a few days after her birth.
“BABY XURIIIIIIII,” PnB captioned a clip showing his newborn daughter laying on his chest.
“That first time you get to hold your baby, you’ve waited so long to meet,” Stephanie said of the moment that she held her daughter for the first time.
In addition to Xuri Li, PnB was also father to another daughter named Milan, whom he had at the age of 21 from a previous relationship.
PnB Rock was best known for his 2015 single “Fleek” and 2016 single “Selfish”, which peaked at number 51 on the US Billboard Hot 100, as well as his uncredited vocals on XXXTentacion’s “Changes”, which peaked at number 18. He released two studio albums; Catch These Vibes (2017) and TrapStar Turnt PopStar (2019).
